Owners John Maguire and Brian Swersky established Lincraft Australia in 2005, with the retail chain specialising in craft, fabric, yarn, haberdashery, window furnishings, manchester and fashion accessories. The business prides itself on valuing the ever-changing and evolving world of craft, sending our most passionate buyers to the ends of the earth to the world’s major craft, yarn and fabric fairs, with strict instructions to source the latest in fashion and creative ideas and return with fresh inspirations.
Their aim is to inspire – and we know that nothing is more rewarding than creating something with your own hands. Once the love of craft starts, it can be difficult to stop! That’s the inspiration behind Lincraft’s “How To Make” series – from bags to boleros, slippers to hoodies, patchwork quilts to Christmas scrapbooks – an entire library of free projects that are easy to do and hard to resist.
